As many of you are surely aware, we suffered a major outage do to one of our HP ProLiant DL360 series servers self destructing. As a result damage was suffered to the area around the server causing excessive downtime.

At this time we have finished moving the hard drives off the server and in to a spare server in another rack, and all systems have been brought back online after verifying the integrity of the data. Although downtime was suffered, no data was lost.

We have a meeting first thing in the morning tomorrow with an HP repair technician who will be arriving on site with parts and a spare server if they are not able to recover the unit, as it is under warranty and suffered from a manufacturing defect.

We are sincerely sorry for this downtime, and really appreciate everyones patience while we work to resolve the issue locally as well as with Hewlett Packard as the server suffered catastrophic failure. While the technician is on site we will be auditing the sister servers in the same rack as their serial numbers are numerically 1 apart, to ensure a similar issue will be avoided as best as we can guarantee.
